Introduction
Aims & Objectives
The objects of the Association are to:
· Support the children, young people, women and families of the Bangali community in the city of Portsmouth (the area of benefit) in order to promote the education, social development and well-being of the member of the said community.
· Support the provision of opportunities for Bangali children, young people, women and families in the city to learn the Bangla language and the culture and history of Bengal.
· Support children, young people, women and families to have a voice in developing and shaping services families need and receive.
Promote equality of opportunity amongst the Bangali and wider community regardless of nationality, ethnic origin, age, religious belief; disability, gender, sexual orientation or political beliefs and affiliations.
Promote such other charitable purposes as may from time to time be determined.
